Andrich Coach Services, a subsidiary of the Andrich Group of Companies, has launched new bus routes from Lusaka, Zambia to Johannesburg, South Africa, marking a significant expansion of its regional presence. The routes, operating on Sundays and Tuesdays from Lusaka and returning on Thursdays and Saturdays, are expected to enhance regional connectivity and foster economic growth.
The launch is the latest milestone in the company’s growth strategy, following a 10-day workshop in October last year in Cape Town focused on leveraging technology for growth. This initiative led to the introduction of a new bus booking app in December, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app allows passengers to book tickets, choose seats, and enjoy amenities like free snacks, Starlink Wi-Fi, and charging ports.
Andrich Group CEO Andrew Zindhlu Lubusha described the launch as a significant step in the company’s expansion plans. “This new route is aimed at making travel between Lusaka and Johannesburg easier and more convenient for passengers,” Lubusha said, highlighting the company’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity.
He credited the company’s hardworking employees for the success and expressed gratitude to Zambians for trusting Andrich Coach Services. “A huge thank you to our people at Andrich for always being on point with work,” said Lubusha.

The launch has been welcomed by business commentator Musonda Chama, who hailed it as a “game-changer” for the region’s transportation sector. “This development is a significant milestone in enhancing regional connectivity and fostering economic growth,” Chama said. He noted that the new routes are expected to create employment opportunities and boost economic activity in both countries, marking another milestone in Andrich Coach Services’ quest to redefine travel in the region.
